The halow project is a Guildford based charity that works supporting young people aged 16-35 with a learning disability across Surrey to have the same life choices and chances as any other young person. halow was founded in 2006 by five parents whose children had learning disabilities. They were concerned with the prospect for their children's future and others like them. We believe that the young people we support have the right to be part of and respected in their communities and are entitled to a life they choose in ways that best suit them. halow is committed to developing creative opportunities and removing social barriers. The vital projects we offer help young people find meaningful employment, acquire their own homes and build relationships with others.
halow project provides a much loved and valued service for the community. We offer a unique and innovative program of activities, giving our young people the chance to enjoy an active social life, make new friends, find further educational and employment training through our various initiatives. The services we provide offer our young people the opportunity to:
· Build relationships
· Become part of the community
· Find meaningful employment
· And have a home of their own
We need your help so we can continue to offer and even expand our service!
